Nordkeys is operated by Mainostoimisto Loud Oy. Nordkeys provides an online booking and accommodation management platform. The accommodation provider using Nordkeys is responsible for the accommodation, extra services, prices, availability, delivery of services, refunds, guest communication, and customer support related to bookings.

Personal data we may process

We may process personal data such as name, email address, phone number, booking details, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, accommodation or room type, extra service orders, payment status, payment reference information, dashboard user information, IP address, browser/device information, log data, and cookie information.

Why we process data

We process personal data to provide the Nordkeys platform, manage bookings, process extra service orders, send confirmations and notifications, provide dashboard access, support accommodation providers, protect security, maintain backups and logs, comply with legal obligations, and manage billing and accounting.

Controller and processor roles

For Nordkeys' own website, platform administration, security, analytics, support, and business communication, Nordkeys may act as the data controller. For guest bookings and accommodation-related data processed on behalf of an accommodation provider, the accommodation provider is usually the data controller and Nordkeys acts as a data processor/service provider.

Sharing data

Personal data may be shared with the relevant accommodation provider, payment providers such as Stripe, email delivery providers, hosting providers, IT service providers, analytics/security providers, authorities when required by law, and professional advisers where necessary.

Payments

Payments may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Nordkeys does not store full card numbers.

Personal data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, including customer service, accounting, security, legal obligations, and possible legal claims.
